I am welcoming back Eva from a previous podcast # 31 called “What do you do when doctors say they don’t know, stages of healing?”

Eva Vennari, NC Nutritional Counselor, and Certified Wellness Coach that I am working with personally and have had unbelievable results from hot flashes, stomach irritation to other gastric issues, rashes, and blood sugar issues that are really turning around using her REVEAL program.

She believes in the saying of “Living on purpose with awareness". We revisits what was considered normal and redefine your own level of wellness.

We redefine aging. The level of Inflammation that we achieve by not living on purpose and living more by default ages us. We live by default feeling pressures from people who put expectations on us adding to our stress level that becomes normal.

True stress has to deal with the internal communication within your body. It is the response to your life that can create Inflammation. Inflammation can be passed by generation that can start from the beginning at birth.

For Imbalance of metabolism, even the best products your body may not be able to handle, even if the commercials on TV say so. You need to know what your body needs.

Eva does Hair analysis as your body’s trash report. There is no doorman for everything that comes into your body.

On this hair test she is able to see how your metabolism is working, how you are creating new cells and the quality of those new cells, your hormones if they are being absorb and utilize as well as the toxin absorption and these are all stories where we can get our specificity.

Healing reactions is revealing the older layer of metabolism. The body is now able to correct those imbalances. The body can only heal something when it has the energy it needs to do that job.

  1. The body will only deal with the immediate needs, it must Build up the energy needed first. Survival is always first.
  2. Healing process starts with needing to break down what is needed to be healed.
  3. Clear the way of the toxins, parasites, viruses, in layers.
  4. Rebuilding, allowing the body’s natural process of healing to happen with time and patience.

Eva becomes the coach and support system as symptoms arise through the process.

She has scientific methods to analyze the mineral content in your hair with each stage of the healing process to reassess to clarify your body’s needs.

She sees that the clash between the head and the heart is part of the incoherence that causes the diseases without recognizing that we are a whole unit that needs to work in conjunction with each part to create the synergy of healing and optimal health

Welcome Back to AS I’m Joanne Williams, for part 2 of Pathway out of Homelessness. we are here to share compelling strategies I have used in my 30 year as a mental health professional with success with my clients as life skills,  that you can use as well you make your life just a little easier with less anxiety and more confidence simply when practiced.  

Today we have a special guest Wayne Shipman that shared his story of homelessness to a business owner  in Part 1  Pathway out of Homelessness and wants to share a message of hope with solutions to the Homeless population and their families and the public help them know and understand that there are things that you can do to help.

MH health issues is huge.  70% stuck resources for emotional issues. Recovery. Shame. 

Covid has affected everything. 

Emergency homeless assistance

Shout out- Stop police PO and security guard asking call off the harassment where do you have them go.

Life skills set, are needed. The snowball effects.

Get away from it alone.  Come back to self. Set boundaries of no. 

Solutions to homelessness

Start each day with a routine to check in with a daily routine.  Mental toughness.

  1. Hope is a rope tied to something secure.  Constant reminder to not give up, 
  2. Set out notebooks, stamped envelopes and pens.  Loved ones of the homeless anxious and vulnerable. 
  3. Mindset to thrive, be Ready, 
  4. We have always issues and feel helpless, we made it thru the crisis, the healing can begin. Powerless because of Covid, small parts each have a part.

Grants for homeless

What would you want a homeless person to hear and their families or the public as ways they can help.

  1. Coming together having the will to help and help them find hope. Give encouragement and reach out
  2. Analogue of hope- Inspiring messages of self help material tapes players to increase their skills. 
  3. Homeless need to take responsibility for their own safety. 
  4. MH as an issue.
  5. Agency band together forces of PO instead of protecting them.

We can do something, not the politics of blaming or judging.

Today we have a special guest Dr. Lindsey Brooks a sex therapist.  I will introduce in a minute.  

Dr. Brooks has her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology, is a certified sex therapist turned sex educator and has been providing therapy since 2005. She is thrilled to now be bringing her knowledge beyond the therapy office into her Sexual Empowerment School where she teaches women how to build their own sexual self-knowledge, develop pleasure-positive mindsets, and learn sexual communication skills through her on-line 8 weeks workshops and resources.

How to overcome sexual anxiety

  1. She shares how developing a Pleasure-positive mindset can be an integral part of wellness. That for women pleasure is ok and welcoming. 
  2. Boundaries- Be clear before hand and discuss what You want, What You will do and what you won’t do. 
  3. Can be hard to separate emotions and sexuality with someone.  This is where hurt feeling and shame and anxiety can be there if you are not on the same emotional page when having sex.
  4. The Messages or script learned from religions, social media or TV and Misinformation have an impact on what we think is right or wrong, good or bad. You are either a good girl or a fun girl.

How to get rid of sexual anxiety

In her 8 week workshop Dr. Lindsey help to rewrite scripts for more of a pleasure mindset. 

  • Normalizing behaviors and emotions involved. 
  • Reframe Shame and what that person enjoys. 
  • Look at your own Values to guide you.  What feels right, . Not fear or shame.

Women deserve pleasure in sex and for it to be mutual and reciprocated, not one sided.

Homeless Assistance with Solutions with Mindset Shifts

A special guest Wayne Shipman shares his story of homelessness to now owning his own home with a steady job as a semi-truck driver. He shares his wisdom of how he went from irresponsible to a responsible member of society.

Wayne was raised in a home with physical and psychological abuse during the five marriages of his mother. Even experienced a false adoption process revealed as an adult.

He couldn’t keep a job because of mental health issue and his own rebellion of his responsibilities as an adult and his anger that he couldn’t make it in this economy.

His big turnaround came after 14 yrs. with changes in Lifestyle and new mental habits choosing to not feel shame or blame anyone anymore. He found accepting where he is now and giving forgiveness to himself and his family instead of blaming them and stopped comparing himself to others. Taking responsibility for his own future shifted his mindset.

He got real hunger for skills and knowledge to know how to deal with his situations.

He found Tony Robbins Personal Power cassette tapes at Goodwill and it changed his life.  He listened to these Tony Robbins tapes to change his thinking and his goal for self-respect.

The bottom-line message is that an individual has to have a mindset shift to turn their life around with a new lifestyle with new mental habits.  

The same elements we all use to succeed and for personal development offered by most reputable life coaches, public speakers, and therapists that homeless people need to learn to change their life. The people that succeed are determined with an attitude about changing their circumstances. 

He choice developing a different path that he now wants to share the skills with others that he learned to change his lifestyle to become his fully functioning working citizen.

Joanne’s special guest is Krystal Holm, she understands entrepreneurs’ challenges since she is the founder of Designed Life Studio and the creator of The Designed Life Method℠.

She grew up with a lot of physical, mental, and emotional abuse and was always told she would never amount to anything.

Feeling Confident Comes from Acting on What you Want Despite feeling Afraid

5 Ways Feel More Confident

Joanne Shares that there are things that we can do to feel more confident whether dating, at work or in life in general. We all want more confidence.  

While everybody knows what it feels like to lack confidence, here’s the thing most people don’t realize about how confidence works:

It is subtle habits in our lives that chip away at our self-confidence and add to our insecurities.

But, if you can learn to identify and eliminate these confidence-killing habits, you’ll find that you’re naturally more confident than you realize, it builds confidence.

1. Trust your Gut- But you must act even with fear.

Confidence is built: You have to practice to get better at something.

One way to look at these examples is that if you had felt more confident, you would have been able to act and get over it.

Mel Robbins technique 5 second rule- is to only give yourself 5 seconds to act or your fear will take over.

Don’t over think it- act.

Feeling confident comes from acting on what you want despite feeling afraid.

2. People pleasing-But sometimes fear of conflict leads to many smaller — though not necessarily less significant — sacrifices:

Whatever the details of your specific situation, here’s what you need to know about being a people pleaser.

When you habitually prioritize other people’s wants and needs before your own, you train your mind to devalue itself.

Think about it: if you never stand up for yourself, who is going to? You will never feel confident unless you start today! Only say yes when you mean it and If it is good for you and the other person and you will create a win win that always helps you to walk away full.

  1. Worrying about the future

Our capacity to think about the future and imagine hypothetical scenarios is a wonderful skill and tool. It can get us prepared and ready for the task. It is a productive way to look at the worry to get prepared and then let it go. If the worry continues then you will need to set boundaries with yourself when it is no longer productive or helpful

  1. Worry is unproductive problem-solving.

If you spend time thinking about something that either A) Isn’t really a problem, or B) Isn’t a problem you can do anything about, you’re likely to end up worrying. Which means you’re getting all of the side effects of negative thinking like stress, anxiety, or panic with none of the benefits of genuine problem-solving.

Worry gives you the illusion of certainty. But in the end, all it does is fragilize you.

It makes you feel like you’re at least doing something. But it’s all a mirage. And in the end, all that worry and anxiety just chip away at your confidence.

Better to face up to your fear of uncertainty with confidence than live in denial about it.

One study in Science Direct revealed that 91.4% of worry predictions did not come true. The most common percentage of untrue worries per person was 100%.

5. Ruminating on the past

Just like worry gives the illusion of control over the future, rumination gives us a sense of false control over mistakes and losses in the past. Unfortunately, it can also lead to self-criticism, depression, and low self-esteem.

When you invest all your attention into yesterday, you have nothing left to invest into today. It is like trying to drive looking through the rear-view mirror.

Accept that you are helpless to change the past and you will have an easier time letting go of your tendency to dwell on the past. And when you do that, your confidence is sure to rise.
